A YOUTH FRIENDLY community is one that actively supports and provides opportunities for the growth and development of youth (ages 13 to 19) through play.
Are you interested in having your community designated as 'Youth Friendly'? If so, Play Works looks forward to receiving your application!

The Play Works Youth Friendly Community Recognition Program online application portal is made possible through a grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
If you are the Lead Applicant, please follow the instructions below. If you are a Co-Applicant, you do not have to register to participate in this process.
Before registering in the system, contact Play Works for an Orientation Webinar. The Webinar will walk you through the application process and provide helpful tips on how to collect information to include in your application.
Click on the "Register" link and complete and submit the registration form.
Log in to the system with your email and password.
Read the Lead Applicant instructions.
Create your online submission.
During the Call for Submission period, your submission can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a appear in the tab when the submission is saved. Please ensure that all attachments are in Acrobat PDF format. At any time, you can download and print your submission by clicking on the
icon in the Submission Summary section.
On completion, save your Submission as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your submission for your records by clicking on the icon in the Submission Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Submission period, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.
